Friday
I could have spent the day packing, traveling, flying, traveling, bleh.  Funny how just traveling to the East Coast takes 10 or more hours.

Instead, I got up early with T and went to the gym.  He went to work.  After a nice workout, I hung out at home and was mellow for a bit.  T picked me up and we went to have lunch with some of his coworkers, then went to see "Ironman."  That was fun.  B, with parts of it being B+.  After the movie, T went to gaming and I went walking with friends in a mall.  W met me and we shopped and hung out for the evening.  I fed her lasagna and chocolate and cream (separate plates).  I introduced her to the evils of Raving Rabbids and Guitar Hero.  She wore out my fingers and seemed thrilled.

Saturday
I could have spent the entire day at a horse race, eating food, talking, and being hot in the sun.

Instead, mowed the lawn in the morning.  I spent the day walking a street festival.  There were no horses.  There was lots of sunlight, though. There was no food.  In the evening, I played Wii "Acme Arsenal" with T.  I am not impressed with it.  Don't bother.

Sunday
I could have spent the day traveling back home.  That would, again, have taken up the entire day.

Instead I slept in, then went to the gym.  Went to the grocery store with T, then sat on the porch and enjoyed the weather.  Dinner will be fancy clothes with T, [profile] chikuru and [personal profile] raaga123.  A much more relaxing choice.

i'm glad you had a relaxing weekend! we missed you lots, but it sounds like definitely worthwhile staying home instead. weather was beautiful, [livejournal.com profile] thebroomecloset did a bunch of organizational stuff so we had a primo spot and a nice setup, the races were uneventful (well, except for the aftermath of the derby :( ), C's new man is talented & accomplished but a bit of a prat, and brunch ended up being tapas instead...

Aftermath? Email me details!

Glad you got to meet C's guy. I will want more details there, too. Thus far I've only heard her side. Not that we would think every guy is not good enough for her or anything...

We missed you, but I'm glad you had a nice weekend and didn't have to endure traveling. It was perfect Gold Cup weather, although a bit windy. Had you come out for the weekend, you hopefully would have also made it to brunch at the tapas place where we ended up before you would have flown back home.

I do regret not getting to see you guys. And tapas sounds lovely.

Still, I do not regret missing out on two days of airplanes and airports. Bleh. Traveling just seems to get more stressful.
